Clinch at VFL MMA

Last weekend at the VFLMMA Stephan Connor looked like a pro when he made his amateur MMA debut.  Most of the fight was a stand up battle but Steve also scored a few takedowns and controlled the ground game.

Two other Clinch fighters fought that evening. Ben Carignan also made his amateur debut and lost a tough fight by decision. Ben looked great with his striking but his opponent didn't like it and won the fight by pressuring the takedowns consistently. Spencer Strube stepped back in the cage and took a submission loss to a game opponent who appeared to be on a mission. It was a tough fight for Spencer but he will be back!
